Is President Noynoy Aquino First SONA 2010 a Holiday?

The first ever State of the Nation Address (SONA) of Philippines President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III on July 26, 2010 will not be declared a holiday.

Malacañang has said through a text by Presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda that July 26, 2010 is “a working day.”

President Benigno Aquino III promised he will deliver a straightforward first SONA which will deal with the Philippines’ current status and what his administration’s plan is for the coming years.
